The Future of Work

"With inequality now embedded in political debates, and several technologies in the pipeline which have the potential to either cause or mitigate such inequalities there’s a pressing need for some understanding of our relationship to the ‘means of production’. What will we be doing? For whom will we be doing it? How will the distribution of work in our societies be managed? And whatever happened to Keynes’ dream of a fifteen hour working week?

On 20th March, UCL's Department of Management Science and Innovation and the Grand Challenge of Human Wellbeing would like to invite you to take part in a wide ranging conversation, bringing insights together from disparate fields to frame ideas around how we should consider the Future of Work.

The Event will take place in the Roberts Engineering Front Building social space (opposite Waterstones), Entry via Malet Place, from 4-7 pm. We would be delighted to hear from you!"

This event has been orchestrated for us by Peter Antonioni Senior teaching fellow/Team leader, Economics Teaching, Management Science & Innovation. Peter teaches a 'unique economics and scenario planning course' at UCL.

Note: The UCL Grand Challenges team have asked for the contact details, name and email address, of attendees to help build out their network of clever and interesting people.  If you do NOT want your details passed on please let me know.

For questions, contact Nick Price
