APF Town Hall & Lunch

  • 25 Jul 2015
  • 12:30 PM - 1:50 PM
  • Contemporary Jewish Museum

Now closed - See registered members at 12:30 Saturday.

Join APF Board Chair Cindy Frewen and other APF committee chairs and leaders to discuss both the future of the field with the Professionalization Task Force and APF 3.0, the next phase of gatherings, global membership and the online presence starting with the website update.

In past town halls, we held lively conversations on the future of foresight and on APF strategic goals.

Where to we want to lead the practice of foresight? The Professionalization Task Force under the leadership of Andy Hines published their approach to addressing this subject and now have some components underway. The Marketing Survey by Mike Courtney, Aperio Insights, and the competency model can benefit from your input.

Furthermore, the APF strategic plan is half way through it's cycle and there's progress on all three goals: growing a Global APF, enabling members globally to access in-person gatherings, and expanding the APF's digital presence, starting with the redesigned website.

There really is no substitute for face-to-face conversations. Your colleagues views may change your ideas and then your thoughts may influence others. In particular, we can further cultivate the APF's role as a leader and the place where important conversations about the practice of strategic foresight occur.

Join us Saturday for an open conversation in San Francisco.
