From Tipping Site to Tipping Point: Making the Circular Economy Happen

This first event in the 2016 APF London Gatherings programme is a collaboration with the London Futurists community

On the afternoon of Saturday 9th April we have our first event of the year on the Circular Economy.  This is a collaboration between the London Futurists, Growth International and the APF.

"The notion of "circular economy" is advocated by many writers and futurists as an important alternative to the existing systems of "linear economy". Advantages are said to include greater re-use, reduced environmental impact, improved resource productivity, and increased sustainability. But what lies in the future for the circular economy? And what is the role of a circular economy in a sustainable economy?"

Quick location guide; Central London close (ish) to Euston Station, St. Pancras / Kings Cross train stations. Closest tube stations Warren Street, Goodge Street and Russell Street.

The London Futurists are one of the most popular futures networks in London but by no means underweight in their content and provocations.  It will be worth attending if you have an interest in the topic or would like to experience another futures meeting network.

We are using the hosting and booking facilities of the London Futurists for this session.  You can learn more about the event, the speakers, the London Futurists and how to sign up." HERE though the London Futurists Meetup Page.
