Your Place, Or Ours

The Board of the Association of Professional Futurists would like to invite you to join us for a special event on Thursday, Jan. 5th, in Reston Town Center, VA for a members' only "Catalyze" day. The Catalyze conversation and dinner are being held in conjunction with the Board’s three-day strategy retreat, Thursday January 5th to Saturday January 7th. As part of preparing APF and its stakeholders for the future, the organization needs to think and act beyond its orthodox beliefs. The APF Board believes it’s critical to include other voices in this conversation, and we're hoping local stakeholders will be able to join us.

We will start at 2:30 pm at location #1, the NASSP, led by Jeff De Cagna, Principled Innovation, LLC, "Challenging APF's Orthodoxies." After the Catalyze conversation, we will go to location #2: Neyla's Mediterranean Bistro, for dinner in their private dining room from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in honor of APF's newest board members, Joyce Gioia, Rob Hanson, and Jason Swanson (Nick Price unable to attend).

We encourage attendance for both events. Sign up early, as there’s limited seating capacity. Please notify us if you are able to only attend one or the other event. Jay Gary  or Cindy Frewen

Registration is now open to the 1st 10 APF members who sign up at www.apf.org

This has been a turbulent 18 months for institutions in the futures field. Throughout this chaos, APF has maintained its member-centered vision. Our intent is that this Catalyze day, plus the Board meetings that follow, will help nurture new ideas, new innovations and new offerings for professional futurists everywhere.

We look forward to having you join us on Thursday Jan 5th for Catalyze, to put the future to work. Please plan to arrive at NASSP in Reston no later than 2:15 pm so we can begin our conversation promptly at 2:30 pm. We will finish by 5 pm and all participants in the session are invited to join the APF Board for dinner at Neyla’s Mediterranean Bistro. (The APF is offsetting the overall cost to reduce per person cost.)
