The Future of Trust - Trust by Design

27th September 2017 (6.30pm)

Our third and final collaborative session with IAAC (Information Assurance  Advisory Council) on the Future of Trust to answer the question “What is the Future of Trust in a complex, socio-technical future?“

Workshop 1 examined the future nature of trust. A key conclusion being that trust has moved from being fixed to being under constant renegotiation through interactions.

Workshop 2 used possible futures to explore trust in 2040.  A finding here was that group based trust, particularly for local and community groups, would become more important.

Our final workshop will consider the findings from our first two workshops in the context of contemporary security legislation. Namely 'Security by Design' as explored by IAAC.
