The APF’s Annual Gathering will explore how the Maker Movement, Social Entrepreneurs, and the networked-enabled sharing economy are converging to create emergent change.  The gathering will exploit San Francisco’s rich resources in these areas with speakers and learning journeys.  Participants will then gather using narrative foresight tools to discuss what these changes may mean for society and the foresight profession.

The Argonaut Hotel is a boutique hotel located in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf: 495 Jefferson Street San Francisco 94109:

Many of the gathering activities will be taking place at the hotel and it will be used as a rally point for learning journeys and walks to venues.  Attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the Argonaut. A special rate of $269 per night has been arranged for Gathering attendees who reserve rooms prior to March 1, 2014.
